New Mexico's sky changes color this October. The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta lifts nearly 600 balloons Oct 3–11, filling the horizon with light and motion.

Mornings arrive early and cool, coffee in hand, waiting for the first balloons to rise.

Stay close by at Inn of the Turquoise Bear, just an hour from the festival grounds. Bring home a little of Iconic Santa Fe, too.

El Rancho de las Golondrinas turns quietly haunting this October. Farolitos light the adobe walkways while old ghost stories drift through the cottonwoods.

Spirits of New Mexico runs Oct 23 & 24 from 5–9pm, with candlelit buildings, a warm bonfire, and family-friendly Halloween fun. Reserve your stay at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear and make an evening of it.

The Santa Fe Symphony is starting its 43rd season on a very high note.

The season opener brings the drama with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, including those famous four notes everyone knows, even if they pretend they don’t.

Big music. Big feelings. A very classy reason to plan a Santa Fe night out.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day from the Inn of the Turquoise Bear! 🐾

Around here, some of our favorite guests happen to have four legs. ❤️

We know a Santa Fe adventure is even better when your best friend gets to come along, which is why we offer four pet-friendly guest rooms: Shaman, Willa Cather, Igor Stravinsky, and Edna St. Vincent Millay. 🐶

Our four-legged guests can enjoy our acre of lush gardens, and with advance notice, we'll have a few things waiting to make them feel at home—including food and water dishes, welcome treats, an in-room sleeping pad, waste bags, and information on pet-friendly places, walking routes, pet services, and veterinary care around Santa Fe. 🌿🐕

Because sometimes the best travel memories include muddy paws and a wagging tail.

Happy National Dog Day to all of our past, present, and future furry guests! 🐾

Santa Fe does not just wave goodbye to summer. It sends its worries up in flames.

The Burning of Zozobra returns to Zozobra Field at Fort Marcy Park on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, bringing one of Santa Fe’s most unique cultural traditions to life.

As the effigy burns beneath the Santa Fe sky, the worries of the past year go with it.

Dramatic? Absolutely. Cathartic? Darling, that is the whole point.
