The Latino Hotel Association was organized to be the preeminent organization representing the business interests of Latino hotel owners, operators and developers. In 2010, a small group of Latino hotel owners and operators joined together to launch an industry related association that would further the participation of Latinos within the lodging industry at a global level. Collectively these indiv
iduals own and operate 95 hotels, representing more than 20,000 rooms, employing over 15,000 individuals and whose assets are valued at more than 2 $billion. As of January 2015, the association's name changed to Latino Hotel Association. Formed to assist the hotel owner, operator and developer, the Latino Hotel Association will be a global network of industry professionals. Through this network, LHRA will equip its members with the educational and business resources needed to be successful within the hospitality industry.
