The Edit at Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi

The light changes first, longer shadows across the Patio by early evening, the last warm afternoons before the air turns. This month brings a new collection of moments to discover, from harvest menus and pairings to familiar gatherings and the last evenings on the Patio before it closes for the season. There is always something to find here, if you know to look for it.

Santa Fe, thoughtfully yours.

The high desert knows how to close a season.

Late August light falls differently.

Longer shadows, a warmth that carries something elegiac in it. The Patio holds the last of the afternoon.

Santa Fe has always understood the art of the turning. We are here for all of it.

A new addition has arrived at Anasazi Restaurant.

It carries its own character: warm, grounded, and a quiet extension of the care this kitchen already gives everything on the plate.

Some honors aren’t about being seen. They’re about being known.

Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi holds a Michelin Key, one of only two in New Mexico, the kind of recognition that doesn’t announce itself so much as settle quietly into the walls, the light, the way a guest exhales on their second morning here.

This belongs to that feeling, and to everyone, associate and guest alike, who has ever slowed down long enough to find it here.

Condé Nast Traveler put it simply: "More than just a place to rest your head, the Anasazi is a luxury hotel that is deeply connected to the cultural fabric of Santa Fe."

Opposite the Palace of the Governors. Steps from the historic Plaza. Contemporary cuisine from Chef Cristian Pontiggia, paired with an extensive wine cellar. This is the place they were describing, and it's exactly where you'd be standing.

Not every tequila story begins the same way.

At the Tequila Table, each pour is a point of departure, into the agave fields, into the hands that shaped the barrel, into the particular character of what’s in the glass right now.

On the eve of Indian Market, the Anasazi Patio opened its doors for an intimate cocktail hour with Christian Allaire unlike any other night of the year.

Artists and friends gathered as the plaza outside began to fill for the market ahead. There were introductions made, stories exchanged, glasses raised, that particular kind of anticipation that only Indian Market brings to Santa Fe.

Thank you to everyone who gathered with us. Santa Fe’s creative community is the reason this place exists.

Some places speak to you before you even settle in.

The soft rush of water. The warmth of something just out of the oven. The rhythm of a cocktail being made with care.

This is what it sounds like to arrive somewhere that knows you.

Just beyond our threshold, the historic Plaza moves at its own pace.

The rhythm of late summer in Santa Fe: the light, the sound, the slow procession of a city that has always known how to take its time.

We are here, at the center of it all.
