Some good news out of Grayton. Isaias's surge washed out the bridge into Grayton Beach State Park, and crews rebuilt it in about 16 hours. The park reopened Monday for day use, open 8 a.m. to sunset. Overnight stays at Florida state parks are still on hold. (Via WJHG.)

Heading out this weekend? Watch the beach flags, give the dunes room while they recover, and call ahead to your favorite local spots since some hours are still limited.

A quick update from all of us at Coastal Dreamin' after Hurricane Isaias.

We're a local team, and since the storm we've been out checking on homes across 30A. The good news: nearly all of our vacation rentals are open and welcoming guests. A few are temporarily closed to bookings while repairs are finished, and we're in direct contact with anyone affected.

Free Saturday-evening plans for families on 30A: Emerald Coast Theatre Company is performing Dragons Love Tacos at the Seaside Amphitheater every Saturday at 5 p.m. through October 17. Bring a blanket, find a spot on the lawn, and let the kids laugh at what happens when dragons get the wrong salsa. There are two Saturdays left, the 10th and the 17th.
