🏆⛳ The 2026 Mayacama Match Play Championships are in the books!

A championship week is never easy, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to every competitor who stepped onto the first tee and embraced the challenge. From dramatic finishes to incredible shot-making, this year’s Match Play Championship delivered memorable moments from start to finish.

🏆 Championship Flight
David Klaudt successfully defended his title with a 2-up victory over Michael Dunsford, capped off by a clutch two-putt birdie on the 18th hole. With the win, David becomes a three-time consecutive Match Play Champion.

🏆 Mayacama Flight
Monte Roach held off Paul Balatti in a competitive final match, securing a 3 & 1 victory to claim the title.

🏆 Women’s Division
Larissa Herczeg continued her impressive run of steady play, defeating defending champion Sarah Ozols 5 & 4 to capture the championship.

Congratulations to all of our 2026 Champions and thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s event so special. We look forward to welcoming our newest champions to next year’s Champions Dinner and continuing this great Mayacama tradition.

🍷⛳ A fantastic day at the 2026 All Vintner Cup!

Thank you to all of our players and Vintners who made this special event such a memorable one at Mayacama Golf Club. A special thank you goes out to our Vintner Members for not only competing, but also generously providing wines for their teams throughout the day.

🏆 Congratulations to Team DuMol — featuring Vintner Reed Renaudin, along with Mike Farmer, Spencer McCoy, and John Jack — on an impressive victory with a score of 115.

Our annual All Vintner Pour once again brought together the very best of Sonoma and Napa for one of the Club’s most anticipated traditions of the year. Members and guests enjoyed exceptional wines from our esteemed Vintner Members, alongside incredible Wine Country-inspired cuisine from Executive Chef Matt Enjaian, fresh oysters from Hog Island, and seasonal offerings from Field & Farm.

With live music from Golden Bell Music, dancing under the evening sky, and an atmosphere filled with energy and celebration, the night was a true reflection of the community, hospitality, and world-class wine culture that make Mayacama so special.

🍷✨ An Evening of Coastal Elegance at Mayacama

Our recent Occidental Winemaker Dinner was a beautiful celebration of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, thoughtful cuisine, and the artistry behind both wine and food.

Members enjoyed an intimate evening featuring the highly sought-after wines of Occidental, crafted from some of the most extreme and breathtaking vineyard sites along the Sonoma Coast. Assistant Winemaker Catherine Kistler shared insight into the challenges and rewards of farming these rugged coastal vineyards, offering a deeper appreciation for the precision and character found in every bottle.

🍽️ Executive Chef Matt Enjaian created a stunning multi-course menu designed to complement the elegance and nuance of the wines—from the Ora Salmon Crudo and Braised Duck Tagliatelle to the beautifully prepared Stuffed Lamb Saddle and Sticky Toffee Pudding finale.

The evening was a perfect reflection of what makes Mayacama special: exceptional wine, inspired cuisine, and meaningful moments shared around the table.

⛳️🏆 21 Years of Senior Championship Tradition at Mayacama

Thank you to all who competed in the 2026 Men’s Senior Championship at Mayacama Golf Club. While the temperatures stayed on the cooler side, the competition certainly heated up over two great days of golf.

Championship Flight
Kriss Myers stayed steady from start to finish, following his opening-round 79 with an 81 to secure a one-shot victory. A strong final-round push from Kevin Bedsole, who posted the low round of the day with a 79, made for an exciting finish.

Super Senior Championship & Senior Mayacama Flights
Steve Feder delivered an incredible performance, posting a gross total of 147 and a remarkable net total of 129 to win both flights in commanding fashion.

Super Senior Mayacama Flight
Rich Ozols successfully defended his title, earning a two-shot victory over multi-time champion Rick Herbert with a two-round total of 143.

⛳️🏆 A New Tradition Begins at Mayacama

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Inaugural 2026 Reserve Men’s Member-Guest. From the competition to the camaraderie, it’s clear this event has all the makings of a lasting Mayacama tradition.

As expected this time of year, the course showed its teeth—but the field rose to the challenge with some outstanding play throughout the week.

🔥 In the end, it was consistency that prevailed.
Jim Mills & Patrick Henggeler delivered steady performances across every round and carried that momentum into the Horse Race, holding off Chris Nolan & Kal Kaliban on the final hole to claim the victory.

👏 Congratulations to all teams who advanced to the Horse Race and to our daily and overall points leaders for an impressive showing:
Justin Richardson & Stuart Crandall led both the Day Two and Overall Points standings, with strong performances from Bob Valliere & Rick Sepp and Chris Nolan & Kal Kaliban close behind.

🎨✨ An Inspiring Evening at Mayacama

Our recent Artist in Residence Dinner was a beautiful celebration of creativity, cuisine, and connection. Members gathered for an intimate evening with Ezra, who has been spending time at Mayacama creating and showcasing his work on property.

Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully curated four-course menu by Executive Chef Matt Enjaian, inspired by some of Ezra’s favorite dishes and flavors—an artistic collaboration where food and art complemented one another perfectly.

Throughout the evening, Ezra shared insight into his creative process and the inspiration behind his work during his time at the Club, giving members a deeper appreciation for both the art and the artist.

A truly memorable night of conversation, inspiration, and community. Thank you to all who joined us for this special experience.

The 2025 Mayacama Looper Cup brought our caddie community together for two days of competitive, spirited golf and great camaraderie. The event featured the top 12 caddies from the qualifying round at the Bull Cup – our Annual Caddie Match Play Championships, split into two teams and captained by Taylor Myers and Nick Rogers.

The format delivered excitement from start to finish—Four-Ball matches in the morning, Foursomes in the afternoon with a clubhouse lunch in between, and Singles matches on Tuesday to determine the Cup.

🏆 Team Myers emerged victorious with a final score of 7.5–4.5.
