🔬🌎 Public Talk: Natural History of Warner Valley 🌎🔬
This Sunday, Sept. 7 at 6PM, we are honored to host Scott Tremor, biologist from the (San Diego Natural History Museum), at Josie’s Hideout Saloon .
This presentation marks the opening activity of our residency , which begins this Sunday and continues for a full week. It is designed to inspire the artists before they begin their creative process. Although the activity was originally planned for the resident artists to learn more about the local habitat, we are extending the invitation to the broader community as well, encouraging everyone to engage more deeply with the ecosystem.
📌 In his lecture “Natural History of Warner Valley”, Scott will introduce the unique biodiversity of our region, from the ecosystems of Lake Henshaw to the surrounding Palomar Mountain and Warner Springs.
This is a unique opportunity to gain a deeper scientific perspective on the species, habitats, and ecological processes that define our valley.
