Role Overview

The Front Desk Ambassador is Kompose's voice and image. We want you to be yourself and welcome guests and locals into a warm atmosphere offering a new hospitality vision where everyone has the freedom of choice !

Trained to know Kompose like the back of your hand, you will become a jack-of-all-trade hospitality professional and a Kompose expert.

Your mission includes :

Sharing your knowledge about the hotel offer: philosophy, amenities available to elevate the guest’s stay, room category, promotions…
Greeting guests and going through the registration process that includes but is not limited to: presenting Kompose offer, inputting information from the PMS, confirmation of guest information and room rate, coding electronic keys, promoting add-ons…
Assisting guest with check-out including but not limited to : ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, processing payment method, making modification, resolving any issue.
Being yourself and genuinely engage in conversations with guests to orient them about what Sarasota and Kompose Hotel has to offer: services, food options, amenities, activities…
Attending to special requests and to any of our guests’ unique needs to elevate their experience and following up with them to promote satisfaction.
Handling guest complaints, conduct research to resolve and provide solutions for guest satisfaction
Communicating with all your team mates to build a strong team spirit and ensure a flowing working dynamic
Standing ready to help any department if needed,
Standing ready to assist guest in Kompose Market place.
Setting up, maintaining, and restocking our tasty food displays.
Making sure our charming retail boutique is fully stocked and items are elegantly displayed.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner. Demonstrates a professional, friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guests and employees. If hired a request will be made of the employee to sign and acknowledge technical and service training standards and expectations as well as a copy of this job description.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and carpet shampoo machine.

2. Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms.

3. Washes walls and ceiling, moves furniture and turn mattress.

4. Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes. vacuums and polishes floor.

5. Dusts and polishes metalwork.

6. Collects soiled linen for laundering from housekeeping carts.

7. Assists in keeping the lobby area clean, neat and free of debris and trash as needed.

8. Receives linen supplies from laundry and stocks linen closets on guest floors in a neat organized manner.

9. Maintains housekeeping carts and stocks supplies.

10. Strips soiled linen from beds when asked to help housekeepers.

11. Removes trash collected by room attendants.

12. Walks all assigned floors at beginning, throughout the day and end of shift to collect trash, soiled linen and other items as assigned by management.

13. Transports clean linen to the housekeeping storage rooms on the floors and refills the par stock of linen on each floor

14. Refills the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each housekeeping storage area.

15. Helps the room attendants with heavy lifting and special cleaning projects as directed.

16. Cleans all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.

17. Removes soiled linen and trash from the pool side and other service areas and takes to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.

18. Assists housekeeping with placing bed boards, roll-ways beds, extra bed etc. in appropriate fashion per standard operating procedures.

19. Reports missing / found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisor and managers.

20. Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.

21. Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

Role Overview

Being a F&B Ambassador at Kompose means offering the guests one of the greatest moments of the day: enjoying a good meal with a high-quality service experience!

The F&B teams is reponsible for the tasty Breakfast and for the Market place which offers delicious snacks & drinks, yummy homemade sandwiches and deserts !

As an F&B Ambassador your mission includes:

Start your day with setting up the tasty breakfast following the training session: starting the coffee, heating up the food, preparing all the displays, make sure the breakfast room is clean and ready to welcome guests...
Make sure the breakfast buffet is clean and filled up at all time
Breakdown the breakfast buffet and clean up the area following the sanitary training
Prepare the Kompose market place‘s homemade sandwiches and packages them following the training session and recipes.
Understand the buffet content, food options available at Kompose as well as the allergens in order to ensure the guest safety
Make sure Kompose Market place is always full.
Keep your service area clean, tidy, and well-prepared.
Participate in the restocking and inventory of Kompose food offer.
Always work following the food safety training
