While I am not an avid dog lover, I would be remiss not to acknowledge the passing of Cooper yesterday morning. For more than twelve years, Cooper was a cherished member of the family and a loyal companion to six of my grandchildren. He was truly loved by all.

Cooper was even present to celebrate William’s graduation from Loyola Academy. Some of you may remember William from his summers working at the hotel as a greeter and bellman.

Let us take a moment to appreciate and celebrate the quiet joy our pets bring into our lives.
