Labor Day marked the unofficial end of summer here at Forest Inn. While we’ll stay busy for another couple months, we’re welcoming fall with open arms — cooler days, changing leaves, and a slower pace.

We took Labor Day to spend time with family and reflect on our third “busy season” as innkeepers. And one thing became especially clear: Forest Inn wouldn’t be what it is without you, our guests.

We’ve worked hard to make Forest Inn a special place — from the design and details to the food, amenities, and little touches that make a stay feel memorable. But what makes it truly special is the people who walk through our doors.

You’ve made Forest Inn part of your getaways, celebrations, and special moments. Many of you have returned time and again, shared thoughtful reviews, and sent friends and family our way. That support is the biggest part of our success, and it’s helped make Forest Inn one of the top-rated B&Bs in the Saugatuck area.

We feel incredibly lucky to call this place ours — and even luckier to share it with you.

It’s officially fawn-sitting season here at Forest Inn. Every year, the local deer moms seem to have the same plan: drop off their adorable little fawns in our yard while they head out to forage neighbors’ flower gardens. Of course, we’re happy to provide a safe place for these tiny VIP guests!
