Yesterday was a very busy day! We had three dead trees taken down. The tree guys left the manageable sized logs for us. We always provide unlimited free firewood to our guests sourced from only deadwood located on the property.

WE’RE BACK! A person who was only supposed to stay for a few months refused to leave and caused three years of absolute torture. We finally regained control of the house in December. We’ve spent five months repairing the damages and de-stressing. We reopened better than ever on Memorial Day weekend.

It is with a heavy heart we bid our beloved flamingo goodbye. Our last guests popped it. It would have been nice if they offered to replace it, but no. They just left it for us to discover with no thoughts of the next guests children.

Hip, hip, hurray it’s a turkey parade!!

Every day they follow a routine, marching past my house then back to Fawn’s Glen.

A coyote almost caught one the other day, darting out of the cornfield in an ambush attack. Luckily for the turkeys they scattered and ran away.
