Memorial Day at The Sautee Inn ❤️🤍💙

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave so much in service to our country. Their sacrifice is never forgotten.

We’re also grateful for the guests spending their holiday weekend with us here in the mountains — sharing slow mornings, porch views, homemade breakfasts, and sweet treats like this berry parfait made with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream by Rebecca and Melinda.

Tonight’s homemade dessert at The Sautee Inn is almost too pretty to cut into… almost. 🍓🍰

Our Summer Berry Ooey Gooey Cake features rich chocolate cake layered with creamy cheesecake filling, topped with swirls of blackberry compote and a sprinkle of dried raspberries for the perfect sweet finish to a Memorial Day weekend evening in the mountains.

Dessert tastes even better with a porch view and cool mountain air. ❤️

A quiet place to rejuvenate!

One guest recently shared their experience staying in our Victorian Suite, one of the most spacious and peaceful rooms at The Sautee Inn. Located on the second floor, the Victorian features a king-size bed, cozy reading area, separate sitting space behind French doors, and a large private deck overlooking the historic Unicoi Highway.

Their favorite part? Relaxing on the screened porch with a charcuterie board add-on, wine from town, and breathtaking mountain views.

And of course… homemade desserts waiting at the Inn. 🍰

🎈Two weeks until the 53rd Annual Helen to the Atlantic Hot Air Balloon Race & Festival. It features 20+ hot air balloons🎈, morning mass ascensions, and is the only long-distance hot air balloon race in the United States.

The Main Race: The official race launch begins at 7:00 AM on Thursday, June 4 (weather permitting). Balloons will travel 225+ miles to the I-95 corridor between Maine and Miami.
