If you gave me 48 hours to show you Savannah, Georgia, here’s exactly where I’d take you. 🤍

From morning coffee under the oaks and shopping my favorite little boutiques to rooftop cocktails, historic streets, and some really good food, I’ve put together a weekend itinerary filled with places I genuinely love.

And while I could easily fill another 48 hours with Savannah favorites, this is where I’d start!

I’ve included some of my go-to spots for eating, sipping, shopping, and exploring, along with a few of the experiences I think make a Savannah getaway so special.

Welcome to the Suite Escape Series 🍃 a new series where I'll be highlighting our amazing Hosting Savannah properties, and what to see and do when you stay there.

This first featured property is our Modern Carriage House Suite in Historic District.

This space is the perfect retreat after exploring, or if you're looking for something more private. Located on Liberty Street in a quiet section, it's just a few minutes from the main attractions but is still off the beaten path in the best way.

As a carriage house, it's perfect for solo travelers, couples, and business trips. And I love that it's so close to some beautiful squares that are always worth a visit.

There’s cities that “do” Halloween, and then there’s Savannah ✨ a city that feels like it was made for spooky season.

While you can take a ghost tour in Savannah at any time of year, there’s just something special about doing one in the fall.

The hardest part? Deciding which one to book.

PS: Many of the stories featured on these tours involve real people and difficult pieces of Savannah’s history. The tours I appreciate the most are the ones that manage to tell a really good ghost story while treating that history with respect. When visiting our local cemeteries and historic sites, please keep this in mind and respect the surroundings and resting places.

Come on a walk through Savannah with me🤍

One of my favorite things lately has been grabbing my camera and just walking. No real destination, no shot list, just slowing down enough to notice all the little details I probably would have walked right past before.

And this morning felt extra special because it was the first morning that actually felt a little like fall in Savannah AND St. Pete Photographer | Wendy is in town and got to come along with her camera too.

We wandered, talked, stopped approximately every 30 seconds because one of us saw something pretty, and somehow managed to make a regular morning feel pretty special.

The light. The doors. The ironwork. The trees. The layers of old buildings. The way the Spanish moss frames a street. I love all these beautifully ordinary little details that make Savannah so magical.

So here are some of my favorite shots I captured on our walk this morning. 🤍
