And just like that, another Wassamki Springs camping season is in the books. 💙🌲

2026 brought plenty of campground days, familiar faces, new memories, and some changes along the way. We’re grateful to everyone who spent part of their camping season with us and made Wassamki part of their Maine adventures.

As we close for the season today, we’re already looking ahead to what another year at Wassamki Springs will bring.

Thank you for a great 2026 season. We can’t wait to welcome you back in 2027! 🚐

Before another camping season comes to a close, there are a few things worth appreciating one more time. 💙

The lake on a quiet morning. Bikes making their way around the campground. The sound of a game happening somewhere nearby. Familiar neighbors waving from their sites. And those ordinary campground moments that somehow become the ones you remember most.

The campsite gets packed up. The RV pulls out. But somehow, a little bit of Maine always comes home with you. 🌲

Maybe it’s a jar of blueberry jam tucked into the pantry, a bottle of maple syrup, a box of whoopie pies that may or may not survive the drive, or simply a camera roll full of lake views and camping memories.

Because the best trips usually leave you with something that makes you want to come back.

What can you fit into one last Wassamki weekend? 🌲

A walk around the campground. A little friendly competition on the pickleball court. One more fishing line in the water. A bike ride beneath the pines. Maybe a few arcade games before dinner.

There are still campground days to be had before Wassamki Springs closes for the season on October 15. 🍂

So bring the RV, pack an extra sweatshirt, and give camping season a proper send-off.

The countdown to the end of camping season is officially on. 🍂

There are only a few days left to fit in one more Wassamki stay before we close for the season on October 15.

And October is making a pretty good case for it – color around the campground, cool days made for being outside, quiet time by the lake, and sweatshirt weather from morning to night.

Remember when the whole campground felt like one giant playground? 🚲

You’d hop on your bike with nowhere in particular to go, make a few new friends along the way, stop at the playground, and somehow always know when it was time to head back to the campsite.

No schedules. No screens. Just an entire campground waiting to be explored.
