Yesterday the studio got a bit of a reset.... Every once in a while everything needs to be moved and cleaned under and around. Well the painted concrete floor is becoming a bit of a problem with the paint lifting up. So I added the flooring pieces leftover from another project. It's not pretty but it does keep the peeling paint off my quilts as I load them.

Many... Many years ago I took a class on running home based business. Which at the time was considered a cottage industry. At the end of the course I had to write a paper, It had to include a detailed description of the business plan. And I had a big plan, with lots of creative things to implement.... Lot's! My advisor suggested that I choose one thing and do that one thing really well. I choose long arm quilting, because I knew I could have a quicker financial return ... To pay the business loan. Which it did. Now 19 years later I still have a list of things... That I still want to do... or at least try to do. I will still do a bit of machine quilting , but there is a shift in focus happening.

I bought this, just in case one of the grandkids wanted to learn some embroidery. It makes a nice practice piece for me ...

It takes as long as it takes...!!!

Which can take a lot longer... If I get sidetracked... And I often do !!!

Just a few of the ideas I have with these pieces... There's a lot of possibilities!!! But for now these must go into a time out. Yes a time out. But they will show up again one day, when it's time for them to shine. I really must get back to the original project ! Which is actually a secret, so you won't be seeing that.
