When you work in the hospitality industry you meet many wonderful people. This weekend we had a wonderful couple from Virginia Beach staying with us. Jim and Linda were complete sweethearts and such a joy to visit with. You can tell they love people and getting to know folks for who they really are. This is their 50th Wedding Anniversary trip and they are not only documenting and sharing with their children their trip but also documenting the many people they meet along the journey and the deep connections they have made. This morning, as they got ready to journey on to Canada via Vermont, they asked me if I would mind letting them take my picture. Jim is the photographer and Linda is the blogger of sorts. I told them sure and asked where he would like to take it...they stated by my jeep with the ducks and one at the front desk. So that is what we did. Seems they thought I had the coolest jeep they have ever seen ..lol. As they headed out of town I recieved a message once again thanking Kayla and I for taking such good care of them and he was sweet enough to send me the photos he took. They also left behind a card with a beautiful note in it inviting us to come visit them in Virgina Beach anytime. One of the sweetest couples and gestures.
