Hidden beneath the hills of northeast Alabama is a cathedral that no human hands ever built — and it is one of the most staggering natural wonders in the entire country.

🕌💎 Cathedral Caverns State Park near Woodville, Alabama is home to one of the largest cave entrances in the world, a colossal opening over a hundred feet high and nearly a hundred and twenty feet wide that pours soft daylight deep into the first chamber in a way that is genuinely breathtaking the moment you step inside. The cave stretches nearly a mile into the earth and is filled with an extraordinary collection of stalactites, stalagmites, and column formations, including some of the tallest stalagmites in any cave open to the public anywhere in the United States. One of the cave’s most famous features is a massive frozen waterfall formation of flowstone that cascades down one wall in layer after layer of pale mineral deposits built up over thousands of years.

🌲Cathedral Caverns was privately developed as a tourist attraction called Bat Cave in the 1950s before eventually being acquired by the state of Alabama and reopened as a state park, preserving this extraordinary geological treasure for generations to come. Walking through that massive entrance and feeling the cool cave air wash over you as your eyes adjust to the dim light and the scale of the formations begins to register is one of those experiences that makes you genuinely reconsider what you thought you knew about what Alabama has to offer. This year's move to Goose Pond Colony has allowed us to create our biggest ROCK THE DOCK yet! From the incredible waterfront concert setting and expanded parking to the VIP experience, food truck village, and beautiful views of Lake Guntersville, everything is set for an unforgettable night!

We've designed the event grounds to give everyone plenty of room to relax, enjoy great music, grab some amazing food, and make memories with friends and family.
