😂 I love chain piecing… it’s the clipping, trimming, and ironing that I’d like to outsource!

There’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of a giant pile of pieced goodness—until you realize every little piece is waiting for you to clip, trim, press, repeat… 😅🧵✂️

Chain piecing: ❤️
Clipping, trimming & ironing: 😩
Christmas sewing: 🎄 Let’s keep going!

🌅 Sunset at The Retreat at Lake Cypress Springs

There’s just something about ending the day at the lake… ✨
Golden skies, peaceful waters, and a little reminder of how blessed we are to have this place. 💛

🧵❤️ Early Morning Sewing…

Getting in some early morning sewing while everyone else is still asleep. There’s just something special about a quiet morning, a little stitching, and dreaming about Christmas projects. 🎄🪡

I’m so excited for this weekend—gathering with old friends, catching up, sharing stories, and sharing our love of quilting. ❤️

And y’all… Christmas is less than 100 days away! 😳🎄

Better keep those machines humming! 😂🧵✨

An Important Update Regarding Our Rates

For the past six years, we have loved hosting your family vacations, weekend getaways, and peaceful retreats at Lake Cypress Springs. Our priority has always been providing you with an unforgettable experience and a beautiful place to create lasting memories.

To continue maintaining the high standards of comfort and service you expect from us, we will be adjusting our nightly rate to $250. This is our very first rate increase in six years, and it comes as a result of rising external costs, including property taxes and utilities.

What this means for your stay:

2026 Bookings: All retreats already booked for the remainder of 2026 will fully honor our previous $200 rate.

2027 Bookings: All bookings for 2027 onwards will reflect the new $250 rate.

We deeply appreciate your understanding, loyalty, and continued support. We look forward to welcoming you back soon!
