Yes, we started on the pole of the heat and feature. And yes it still feels great to put a car in victory lane. Thank you to everyone that helps, especially my favorite power washer Anita. We are happy for Eilts Racing & Fabrication LLC as this is a very good car. On a side note, we have been working at A & M Polishing to build a premium metric caliper. I think we got a good one.

Went 9th to 4th in the heat, then started 10th in the A and was running in 4th when I decided to call it a night. The track had substantial “juice” and I could t keep my LF on the ground. I was in our buddy Paul White”s way and being side by side is not good when you don’t know what the car is gonna do next. Until next time. ✌️

Our night started with a bad draw. Really just knocked some rust off in the heat. Kind of a unique format where the winners only made the A and everyone else went to a B. 8th to 7th in the heat, then 12th to 5th in the B. Officially 14th to 9th in the A but lost about 5 spots one lap when I decided to drive it off of 3. Overall, minimal damage and had a great time. Congrats to Cody Smith on the win.
Not sure what is next. This old fat guy is wore out after 30 laps elbows up. 😂

Ironically, the last post we made on our racing page was the day after things started happening in Iran. So we filled up the truck that day and have been watching fuel prices soar to as high as $6/gallon here.
Well, I finally got the itch to get back out. We plan to head to HOT speedway in Waco Friday night. Stock cars pay just north of $3k to win.
Thanks Anita for helping to scale the hot rod.

Had a humbling moment as HOT Speedway asked us and Paul White to come to practice day today and speak into the receiver of the Junior Limited kids ages 11-16. Such a great idea for young racers who also likely won’t listen to their parents but will listen to us. Thank you for the opportunity. I think it’s a great idea and could see other tracks benefiting from such a class. The future of racing looks great in central Texas!

It’s been a minute since we haven’t been headed to Lincoln to celebrate our racing accomplishments. We want to congratulate our fellow competitors in their achievements. We are still looking for some help on our 2026 program. We are very thankful for our support, however we would love to meet the right people or persons to work together next season and behind on our racing program.
