The City of Seabrook has been named a 2026 Gold Star Affiliate by Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB), the highest honor given to its local partners. This prestigious recognition highlights Seabrook's exceptional leadership in community improvement through expanded programming, specialized training, and strong local partnerships.

Key achievements from 2025 that led to this honor include:
• Planting more than 100 new trees.
• Removing over 3,000 pounds of debris from public spaces.
• Maintaining 16 miles of trails
• Hosting free outdoor family events nearly every month.

According to Public Works Director Brian Craig, this award is a testament to the hard work of city staff, the Parks and Trail Committee, and the many volunteers dedicated to keeping Seabrook beautiful.
