Friends, we are sure that you have heard the short-term rental ban has been lifted in our area. If you are making plans to visit, please stock up on supplies before you head our way. Our grocery stores are not fully stocked and locals can’t even find the supplies they need. If you are asked to wear a mask in a business, don’t yell at the associates/clerks/hostesses- they didn’t make the rules. Expect limited parking in most public areas. Enjoy the bike paths and nature walks. Tip your waiters well. Most of them have been without a paycheck for two months. We are asking for your kindness, respect and patience as we learn how to do business in a new way. We appreciate each and every one of you for supporting our local economy during this time. If you come to the beach, please take a deep breath, relax and move at a slower pace. We truly are all in this together.
