History recaptured!!! The Lewis and Clark salt makers are here in Seaside recreating the events that unfolded back in 1805. It is fascinating to see these people wearing 1800’s style clothing, surrounding the fire that will eventually make them salt. You almost feel like you are in a time machine. The salt makers absolutely will not break character and they know what they are doing. History is fun!!! , , , ,

The wonderful people down the street at the Osprey Cafe have managed to stay open during this difficult time and are still serving amazing meals. They even have a heated tent set up outside that allows people to sit down, have a meal, and remain safe. We are really impressed.
