GREAT NEWS!!! Beginning October 15, 2020, a pre-travel testing option will allow travelers an alternative to Hawaii’s 14-day quarantine. The state of Hawaii will ONLY accept test results from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners. All incoming travelers are required to have their temperatures checked and complete a health questionnaire online before they can leave the airport. Maui will open for tourists on August 1 without the 14 days quarantine if they are tested for the virus within 72 hrs and have received a negative result.

Effective Tuesday, June 16, 2020
Friday, June 12, 2020, the Mayor announced that effective June 16, 2020, Transient Vacation Rentals (TVR) will be allowed to operate but can only accommodate persons not subject to the 14-day quarantine. This means that units could potentially rent to interisland travelers, residents, and guests not subject to the 14-day quarantine, such as out of state visitors who have completed their quarantine at a hotel or motel.

Out-of-state visitors that arrive in Maui County must complete a 14-day mandatory quarantine at a hotel or motel prior to rental of a condominium, Bed and Breakfast Home or Short-Term Rental Home.

These rules remain in effect until July 31, 2020 unless they are terminated at an earlier date or extended to a later date. Violation of this rule is punishable as a misdemeanor, with fines of up to $5,000, up to a year in jail, or both. This applies to visitors and hosts who do not follow quarantine requirements.

If the Governor’s Proclamation expires or is terminated prior to the expiration or termination of Mayor Victorino’s Public Health Emergency Rules, the Mayor’s Rules remain in effect.

We are happy to announce that the Puamana condo in Maui has been updated with new furnishings in the living room area. The couches and chairs have been replaced as well as new art work. We also have a new propane barbecue on the lanai.

Exciting news!!! Our Puamana condo will be getting new living room furniture!! Will post pictures once it is set up. We also have a new gas grill there. Start booking for fall!

Firewood restocked at our Painted Cliff unit in Whistler and ready for our tenants for the winter. We also just put in a new fridge and microwave.
