Do you love animals? This activity is one that I have had my heart set on for a few years. I am so happy that we made time to visit the SAGA Humane Society in San Pedro last week.

It was such a sweet experience that we decided to go 2 days in a row just to be sure we soaked in the love, cuddles and playfulness that the animals had to offer.

Day 1 we were able to spend about 30 minutes in each of the cat rooms. Playing with them, petting them, letting them chew on our pant legs and loose strings 😄. They have a separate room for small cats and big cats. Both were lovely.

Day 2 we went back to take some lucky dogs on a walk to the beach only a few blocks away from SAGA. Turns out, we were the lucky ones. We played in the sand, learned a little about each of their unique personalities and fell in love with their smiles.

If you have a free 1-2 hours during your stay in San Pedro and you like animals, make an effort to go visit these lovely rescue dogs. Its an experience that you wont forget and that your heart will cherish forever 🐕🐱🐈‍⬛🐕‍🦺.
