Princess Cruises and Holland America Line offer competitive wages for summer jobs in Alaska. Wages vary depending on your position, level of experience, and additional qualifications. In Alaska, the minimum wage is $10.34 per hour and overtime is paid for hours worked over 8 hours per day or over 40 hours per week. Our Season:
The Alaska and Canada seasons run from late April/early May through September/October, depending on location. Training programs may be scheduled prior to May. The preferred applicant would be one who can commit to work the entire season. You can earn a FREE* Cruise on Holland America Line or Princess Cruises after successfully completing your seasonal contract of 400 hours or more (offered at most locations. *Only pay port taxes, fees and crew gratuities). New and returning employees have an opportunity to earn a cash bonus for recruiting potential employees to Princess Cruises and Holland America Line- Alaska. Both the referring employee and the prospective referral need to complete their entire contract for the bonus to be paid out after the end of the season. Locations such as Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Ketchikan, Seattle, Seward, and Vancouver offer typical city amenities such as movie theaters, shopping centers, and other urban venues. Air Transportation:
If needed, air transportation arrangements to your point of hire may be arranged through Princess Cruises and Holland America Line- Alaska. We offer a repayment program that will allow you to repay the cost of your ticket with your earned wages, once on site. Speak with your hiring manager for more information.
