“Retirement Has Arrived”
After 27 years of greeting guests from all over the world, we’ve made the difficult decision to close The Guest House Bed and Breakfast. We’ve been so fortunate to share the three things we love to do, cooking, gardening and travel with our guests. We thank each and everyone one of you that chose to stay with us, and wish you memorable travels in the coming years.

Meet my partner in crime; Tom is the greatest husband, father, papa and my sous chef. He cooks the breakfast meats to perfection and waffles are his specialty. He’s a man of few words, but a great listener, housekeeper (does all the vacuuming, which is a back breaker) handyman and gardener. Today he’s sporting a new apron from the Pike Place Market, a gift from our thoughtful guests.

First picking of the raspberries in our garden and they are so sweet and delicious. It's called Raspberry Shortcake and the bush stays small and manageable. You don't need a large garden to grow them. We grow them in large pots and you can too, all they need is a sunny porch or patio and lots of water.
