Hey Friends, Fans and Family of The Wildwood ! We have a "Good News/ Bad News" announcement to make.

We'll start with the bad, or actually sad, part: The Wildwood, as a vacation rental business, is closed!

The good news part (for us at least) is that it is closed because it is now our family home!

We have the good fortune of having too many jobs. We created this lovely home to share and got to do it for the last 4 years. It has been a great adventure being part of people's vacations, weddings, family reunions, cruises, memorials, business retreats, etc. But it has also been a lot of work. In order to simplify, we have closed the calendars and moved in!

Thanks so much for your visits to the house and the FB page. We have loved it! We are so lucky and grateful to be able to have our own chapter here. We'll leave the page up and post on occasion. Please stay in touch!

100!!!! It finally happened today! We hit 100 5-star reviews! 70 on VRBO and 30 on Airbnb! We are unbelievably lucky and unbelievably grateful! Whoohoo!!!!

We had an amazing visitor the other day! Cleaning up between guests, heard CAWing and scratching in the fireplace flue. Opened the flue and couldn't spot anybody. After some quiet waiting however, they emerged, apparently none the worse for wear. Sweet freedom!
