Photos taken on May 27th by friends and photographers hired by the event organizer NS BlueScope Malaysia Sdn Bhd during the psentation of my architectural design and city planning projects at Sheraton Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. My presentation was titled" A
River of Ideas: How My Childhood Helped Shape My Design Thinking ". In addition to the photos, I have included screen shots of articles from the English newspaper The Edge, Malay newspaper Utusan Malaysia and Chinese newspaper Sin Chew that featured coverage of the event.

SkyArena Sports Complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was featured on the November/December 2022 issue of B & I ( Business & Investment) magazine in Malaysia. This was the 4th time B & I featured this multiple awards winning project by Kun Lim Studio/ Kun Lim Architect. The first 3 times were during the design and construction stage. We had a successful in-person early community outreach event for our oceanfront apartment project in Alki Beach, Seattle on Saturday, December 17. Many enthusiastic neighbors showed up at the site despite freezing temperatures, and patiently listened to our briefing. They gave us valuable suggestions as well. We started working on 3 new projects recently: Data Center in Delapan Special Economic Zone, Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah, Malaysia, Convention Center in Colombo Port City, Colombo, Sri Lanka and an oceanfront apartment in Alki Beach, Seattle. Kun Lim Architect's first project in Kedah, Malaysia is officially off the ground with the commencement of earthworks a few weeks ago. On a 50-acre site in Bukit Kayu Hitam, right next to the Custom,Immigration and Quarantine Complex at the Malaysia Thailand border, One Northern Hub has a hotel, college, office, rest and relax area, custom office, warehouses and inland port in its development. www.kunlim.com

After months of design work, and hundreds of virtual meetings with clients , consultants and local authorities in Japan, Malaysia and myself Kun Lim in Seattle, construction for the state of the art Daiso Global Distribution Center in Selangor, Malaysia will commence early next year, with completion expected in mid 2024. This project is a joint venture between Daiso Industries Co., Ltd. of Japan and PKT Logistics Group of Malaysia. Kun Lim Architect/Kun Lim Studio LLC's project, the SkyArena Sports Complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is going to open to the public next year once it is fully furnished and equipped. This multi-storey & multi-function sports complex has been featured in a few magazines during the design and construction stage. The project also won 4 awards so far, including Best Public Architecture Award for Asia Pacific at the Asia Pacific Property Awards event in Bangkok on May 4, 2018, and "The Wow Award" for the " Most Iconic Development" at the Star Property Awards 2020 sponsored by The Star Newspaper in Malaysia. www.kunlim.com.

The Ship Campus in Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia is Kun Lim Studio LLC /Kun Lim Architect's latest completed project. Designed to accommodate 4000 students, it has a 9-storey academic block with 2 theater style auditoriums for 550 persons and 250 persons respectively, and 4 blocks of 8-storey students residences for 1500 students. Peninsula College and Plymouth University from England are going to conduct courses in this campus. This is our 5th completed project for PKT Group, the owner of Peninsula College.
