Your hosts are poet Dalya Sachs and photographer Stephanie Duprie Routh. Their exhibition, Dreams in the Grammar of Possibility, is the starting point for the weekend’s creative experiences and conversations.

For two years, Dreams in the Grammar of Possibility has traveled as an exhibition — Austin, New York, San Francisco, Menorca, Spain. Photographs, poetry, stories of women past, present, and still becoming.

People walked through it. Then they went home.

This November, eight women linger inside it. Three days at a private estate in Sonoma — sitting for the portrait, painting the silk, writing the page. Chef-led dinners and long conversations in between.

Detour at Dalya Estate is an immersive retreat and living art installation for women, led by artist Stephanie Duprie Routh and poet Dalya Sachs.

Together, we’ll explore photography, poetry, intimate meals, and thoughtfully curated experiences—creating space for reflection, connection, discovery, and new perspectives, while inviting us to imagine what’s possible.
