Found this plaque on the underside of the lid on an old uprtight piano I was tuning. Back in the day, I guess they wanted to hedge their bets a little and had more than one income stream. Undertaking AND selling those "new fandangled" pianos.......

Just added my new "office" number to my heading. This should be easier for people to remember and dial. It also helps me get the messages from my tuning customers.

Remember the Scott Joplin Festival is coming up at the last of the month. I will be tuning the pianos in the banquet room at Best Western (after hours fest) as well as the grands for the concerts on the Liberty Ctr stage.

I recently tuned a very nice Wurlitzer console piano here in Sedalia. It is a model 2275 which I use to sell when I had a music store on Thompson Blvd. It resides in a lady’s home and she said she bought it from a local couple not long ago.
It was fairly low in pitch and I had to do a pitch raise and then turn around and tune it. I was really surprised how well it tuned and stayed where I put it. The sound was nice and clear all the way up the scale. Wish they still made these—or more people would have bought them when they could.

I assisted Wilkens Music for the Scott Joplin Festival in June 2018. Tuned the pianos at the after-hours venue at the Best Western Motel.
