💛 Hearts to Hands Delivers 100 Bags of Comfort! 💛

What began with a caring heart and a paintbrush has grown into something truly meaningful.

Sofia Hileman, a sophomore at BASIS Ahwatukee, has hand-painted more than 100 care bags for children receiving treatment at Banner Children’s Hospital through the Armer Foundation for Kids’ Hearts to Hands program.

Each bag is filled with love, including handmade quilts created by the Ahwatukee Charity Sewers and other thoughtful items to help children feel warm, comfortable, and supported during their hospital stay.

These bags are more than gifts—they are reminders that every child is seen, loved, and surrounded by a community that cares. ❤️

One of our favorite parts of Asylum Restaurant is that history isn't tucked away behind glass. It's woven into the experience.

Originally built as the United Verde Hospital, the Jerome Grand Hotel is filled with reminders of its remarkable past. Throughout the property, you'll find original artifacts and historic pieces that have been carefully preserved, each with its own story to tell.
We love keeping these pieces as part of the restaurant because they connect us to the people who once walked these halls and honor the rich history that makes Jerome so unique.
