Job Duties include:
• Responds to both customer and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment immediately
• Maintains the condition of hotel lobby
• Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
• Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
• Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Requirements / Skills
• Basic HVAC knowledge
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Customer focused attitude
• Strong communications skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Take regular actions to keep guest room and areas fully operable for guest comfort and safety and the work environment safe for fellow associates.
• Use your wits and technical abilities to solve problems and make repairs effectively and efficiently
• Respond courteously to guest promptly and resolve maters to the guest's satisfaction.
• Help With Ground upkeep
• Help keep the mechanical areas safe, orderly and clean and maintain legible, orderly records.
Job Responsibilities
1. Maintain the physical functionally and safety of the hotel including, but not limited to guest rooms, public spaces and heart-of-house areas.
2. Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment and guest rooms
3. Replace and program televisions as needed.
4. Repair and program hotel electronic lock system
5. Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.
6. Performs furniture repair
7. Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and report non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.
8. Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
9. Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
