With clear skies for much of the year and very little light pollution, Sedona is one of the best places to look up and stay awhile.

Outside of monsoon season in July and August, evenings are often perfect for spotting stars, constellations, and the Arizona sky.

So after a day of red rock adventures, your nighttime plans are simple: get comfortable, look up, and let the stars do the entertaining. 😉

One of the best places to catch fall color is Oak Creek Canyon, where Highway 89A winds between Sedona and Flagstaff through the changing leaves of the Coconino National Forest.

Take the scenic drive, enjoy the switchbacks, and make a stop at Oak Creek Vista for a worthy photo of fall in Red Rock Country.

Fall colors typically shine from late September through mid-October, so consider this your excuse for a scenic drive and a little leaf peeping. 😉
