This Mother’s Day morning at Adobe Grand Villas began with sunlight and stillness — a quiet moment before the love unfolded.
Chef , with heart in hand, turned the kitchen into a sanctuary. Her Cherry-Almond Scones came out warm and golden, like the first embrace of the day. Each one a love letter, folded in sweetness.
Then came the laughter.
Eggs Benedict Florentine stacked like tiny towers of joy, oven-roasted potatoes crisp and proud, and chocolate-dipped strawberries dressed to impress — like they knew they were part of something special. Playful. Flirty. Full of flavor. Moms deserve breakfasts that winks back.
But beneath the beauty and the blooms, there was reverence.
Each dish an offering. Each flower a prayer. In Chef Kim’s hands, breakfast became a blessing — a way to say thank you to the women who carried us, guided us, loved us.
From soft scones to rich hollandaise, from giggles to grace —
