⚾🥎⚽ One of the things we love most about Skagit Valley is the incredible sports community we have right here in our backyard.

From the baseball and softball games played at Janicki Fields in Sedro-Woolley, to the Firecracker soccer tournament at Skagit River Park in Burlington, and the fastpitch and softball tournaments at the Skagit Playfields in Mount Vernon, our communities are proud to host events that bring people together through sports.

These facilities provide opportunities for athletes to compete, grow, and create lifelong memories while introducing visitors to everything our valley has to offer—from local restaurants and shops to outdoor recreation and small-town hospitality.

A huge thank you to the coaches, volunteers, tournament organizers, and families who make these events possible. We love seeing Skagit Valley come alive with the energy and excitement of youth sports all summer long!

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

A special thank you to and all the volunteers with Sedro American Legion Post 43 who worked hard placing flags throughout the cemetery and downtown Sedro-Woolley. The display is a beautiful reminder of the service and sacrifice of our veterans and heroes.

Our local Memorial Day ceremony will take place Monday at 11 AM at Union Cemetery in Sedro-Woolley.
