Wow, in over 25yrs, we've only had two bad guests. The other one was a "witch" or so she claimed. This, however, was the first time I've ever had to call the police.

Thought we were supposed to have Blackberry Winter in late March. It's cold outside for MAY! At least it will be better and warm up by end of week.

Storms and tornadoes are gone this morning. Time for breakfast! We'll need plenty of coffee this morning. It was a late night for most of us. Rolling thunder went on past 2:00am.

Thank you again to the Embryo Transfer Clinic for sending guests our way this weekend. We've had guests attending their school who flew in from Israel to Australia and almost every state in the union.

House doors/windows open, snow is gone, SPRING HAS ARRIVED!

We went through 26 quarts of Vegetable Beef stew during the storm + 6 loaves of homemade bread. Last bowl this evening.
The great snow melt has begun!!!!
My Mother-in-law was right. When a storm hits, first priority in the kitchen is a big pot of stew.
You're going to need it.
