It's never too early to plan ahead for next year's festival! And it's the 80th anniversary of the release of the It's A Wonderful Life movie! That's a pretty big deal, so we are expanding the festival from 3 days to 5 days. That's right. Two extra days to celebrate this classic film in the real Bedford Falls. So save the dates and start making your plans now. Spread the word to your friends and family! We hope to see you to celebrate the 80th!

We are still finalizing the 2025 Festival lineup, but the program with all the activities is up on the website and will be changed as things are added or tweaked . But if you go to the link below, you can start making plans for the activities you'd like to attend for the festival. There are so many things to choose from...screenings of the movie in both black and white and color, the It's A Wonderful Bonfire, visits with Santa, free horse drawn wagon rides, Sam Wainwright's Vendor Village, the It's A Wonderful parade, a chicken bbq and pasta dinner, a scavenger hunt and a new Sunday Fun Day event. Come and be a part of the It's A Wonderful Life Festival! The 79th anniversary celebration of Frank Capra’s beloved film is bringing thousands of visitors to the town, believed to have inspired Bedford Falls—and you’re invited to join the celebration as a vendor!

This three-day festival draws visitors from across the country to enjoy movie screenings, the festive parade, holiday lights, live entertainment, and the magic of Bedford Falls. Visitors can stop by the It’s A Wonderful Life Museum to see film memorabilia and special appearances by cast members. Vendors benefit from strong foot traffic, enthusiastic shoppers, and a warm, festive atmosphere.

Vendor Village will be one day, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Chemung Canal & Trust parking lot (outdoor Vendor Village). Each space is approx. 10' x 10' area (bring your own tent, tables, and chairs). Electricity is not available but generators are permitted with prior approval (fire extinguisher required).
