Great hotels aren’t built by one person. They’re built by teams that care deeply about their guests, their people, and their community.

We’re incredibly proud of the team leading the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sequim every day. From left to right: Shelby Schleve General Manager; Bret Wirta, Owner; and Namaste Stayton, Vice President of Hotel Operations.

As we continue welcoming guests from around the world to the Olympic Peninsula, we’re grateful for the opportunity to invest in our property, support our team, and create memorable stays for everyone who walks through our doors.

Thank you to our incredible staff and to every guest who chooses to stay with us. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming many more of you this season.

Please join us in congratulating Kaila Spaulding on her promotion to Sales Administrator at Holiday Inn Express Sequim!

Kaila joined our team in April 2024 as a Front Desk Agent and quickly distinguished herself through her dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to guest service. On April 21, 2026, she officially stepped into her new role after consistently demonstrating the values that define both our team and the Wirta Hospitality culture.

Throughout her time with us, Kaila has shown an outstanding and seemingly insatiable desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. Her ability to think on her feet, adapt to any situation, and navigate guest and client interactions with confidence and grace has made a lasting impact on our hotel, our guests, and our community.

When the opportunity arose to expand our sales team, the decision was an easy one. Kaila has earned the respect of her colleagues, built meaningful relationships with our guests, and continually proven that she is ready for the next step in her career.

We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and excited to watch her continue to grow in this new role. Congratulations, Kaila—we can't wait to see what you achieve next!
