Some trolley info for our guests!
πALL ABOUT THE PIGEON FORGE TROLLEYS
Want an easier way to get around Pigeon Forge without the stress of driving, paying for parking, or fighting traffic? The Pigeon Forge Mass Transit Trolley System is one of the most affordable and convenient ways to explore the Smokies! πβ¨
How it Works
The trolley system runs on several routes all day long with stops at more than 100 locations throughout Pigeon Forge and parts of Sevierville. Youβll spot green and tan trolley cars rolling up and down the Parkway, stopping near hotels, restaurants, attractions, shops, and more. Simply find a trolley stop marked with a sign or shelter, hop on, pay your fare, and go!
The trolley operates a hop-on, hop-off style service β which means you can get on and off as often as you like if you have an all-day pass.
Where It Begins β The Transit Center
The main hub for the trolley is the Mass Transit Trolley Station located next to Patriot Park in the Old Mill District at 236 Old Mill Avenue. This is where most routes originate and return, and where you can park for free and catch the trolley to begin your day of exploring. There is also free parking at nearby municipal lots on Teaster Lane with stops right next to the lots.
Trolley Routes Youβll Find
There are several key routes that make exploring the area easy:
β’ North Parkway β travels north through Pigeon Forge into part of Sevierville
β’ South Parkway β heads south through the Parkway and nearby attractions
β’ Gatlinburg Welcome Center β goes to the border just outside Gatlinburg
β’ Dollywood β direct service to Dollywood attractions

Tips for Riding the Trolley
π Buy the All-Day Pass β If you plan to ride more than once or visit lots of stops, the $3 pass is the best deal.
π Check the Schedule β Frequencies vary by route (e.g., Parkway routes run every ~20β25 minutes), and times can change with seasons and traffic.
π Use the Transit Center as a Starting Point β Itβs easy to park and catch your trolley from here first thing in the morning.
π‘ Have Exact Change β Drivers only accept exact fares, so plan accordingly.
π Hop-On, Hop-Off β You donβt have to ride a route start to finish β get off at attractions and catch a later trolley back!
Whether youβre visiting Dollywood, shopping the Parkway, or just cruising without the hassle of parking, the trolley system is a fun, cheap, and local way to get around town! ππ
