A useful evacuation map should be visible, easy to understand, specific to the property, and supported by a clear, unobstructed exit route.

Clear water can be convincing.
Unfortunately, appearance alone cannot confirm whether sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and the rest of the water chemistry are where they should be.
That requires actual testing—not a confident glance from the edge of the pool.

Cooler weather may reduce swimming, but the pool system still needs attention.
Water chemistry can change. Leaves and debris collect. Pumps, filters, and heaters can develop issues. A neglected pool can create a much larger problem before spring arrives.
Off-season pool care protects the water and equipment when fewer people are watching.
Before assuming the pool can simply wait until next year, make sure there is a real maintenance plan in place.
