🇺🇸 The countdown is on! In just a few hours, Gatlinburg will make history as we kick off America's 250th anniversary with the nation's very first Independence Day celebration—the iconic Gatlinburg 4th of July Midnight Parade!

✨ Here's everything you need to know:

🕛 When: The parade begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, so grab your spot tonight and arrive early for the best view!

📍 Where: Along the Parkway in downtown Gatlinburg, from Baskins Creek Bypass to Traffic Light #10.

📺 Can't make it? Watch the celebration live on C-SPAN 2, as part of ABC News' 24-hour Independence Day special (check your local ABC station), or tune in to WVLT if you're in East Tennessee.

🎉 What to expect: Patriotic floats, marching bands, giant balloons, and special appearances by the Wounded Warrior Project, active-duty and retired military members, and Gold Star and Blue Star families.

👕 Limited-edition parade shirts: Pick yours up at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center (1011 Banner Road) or near Traffic Light #3 while supplies last.

🚎 Getting here: Plan ahead! Arrive early for parking, expect road closures, and take advantage of the FREE Gatlinburg trolleys, running for two hours after the parade.
