🐻 Looks like the supervisor showed up for work today!

While we were busy staining the deck at Grillin Bear Lodge, this cute visitor decided to stop by and check on our progress. Apparently, no maintenance project is complete without a little bear inspection. 😂

One of our favorite things about the lodge is having 6+ private wooded acres where Smoky Mountain wildlife sometimes comes right to us. You never know who might wander by while you’re relaxing on the porch!

We kept our distance and let our furry neighbor enjoy the trees—but we’re pretty sure he approves of the new stain. 🐻🌲🏡

Just another day at Grillin Bear Lodge in the beautiful Smoky Mountains!

There’s just something about a late summer afternoon in the Smokies. 🏔️☀️

A rocking chair, a warm breeze, blue skies, and nothing but trees and mountain views stretching out in front of you.

This is the front porch at Grillin Bear Lodge — the perfect spot for morning coffee, an afternoon drink, or simply sitting for a while and enjoying the peace and quiet of 6+ private acres in Wears Valley. 🐻🌲

Summer may be winding down, but some of the best days in the Smokies are still ahead. 🍂

Come find your favorite rocking chair.
