Before the sun comes up… 🌅

There’s something about watching the sky slowly wake up over Douglas Lake.

Well… our Ring camera went off again. 😳🐻

This time Momma Bear brought all THREE cubs along for an evening stroll past Stay Kozy Lookout.

Deer, hummingbirds… and now this crew. We never know who might wander through these woods. 🤎

Apparently the porch was the place to be this morning. 🦌🐦

One deer strolling by… and 6 hummingbirds hanging out at the same time.

Just another morning at Stay Kozy Lookout. 🤎

East Tennessee is coming together to celebrate the life and legacy of its hometown queen. ❤️

“What Dolly Did for Me: A Parade for Our Queen” will take place Friday, September 4 in downtown Knoxville, with the parade beginning at 7 PM.

These photos from Dolly’s statue in Sevierville were shared with us by our recent Stay Kozy guests. Seeing the flowers, tributes, and people gathering to remember her says so much about what Dolly has meant to East Tennessee.

Coming to celebrate Dolly? Make a weekend of it. ❤️ Spend some time exploring East Tennessee and the Smokies, then come back to the peace and quiet of Douglas Lake.

🏡 Stay Kozy Lookout has availability for the weekend.

A little before + after magic. ✨

Stay Kozy Lookout has come a long way. What started as a dated little lake house became the kind of place we wanted people to come, slow down and actually enjoy being together.

And this was only the beginning. 💚

Follow to see what we're creating on Douglas Lake.

Our Stay Kozy guests were in downtown Sevierville this morning and sent us these photos from Dolly’s statue. 🤍

Flowers, balloons, and people are gathering in her hometown to remember a woman whose influence reached around the world, yet whose heart and roots remained here in the Smoky Mountains.

Dolly gave so much through her music, her generosity, her love for children, and her love for East Tennessee.

There will never be another Dolly.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the kindness and the beautiful legacy you leave behind. 🤍
