Appalachian Bear Rescue says a bear cub's death in Sevier County was completely preventable, and is now pushing for a county-wide ordinance prohibiting bear feeding. Experts say proper installation of bear-resistant containers could have made the difference.

It's that time of year when we get treated to visits from our local wildlife during work activities in the TN Smokies. We walked out of one cabin door this past week to be greeted by a beautiful black bear in Wears Valley. We also noticed a family of Canadians visiting Gatlinburg on another workday. Definitely blessed to be doing business in the Smokies. ☺️
