🌞 A Quick Pool Update from Cove Creek RV Resort 🌞

As we were putting the finishing touches on our pool opening preparations, we discovered an issue that requires a major repair. While this means the pool opening will be delayed, we're choosing to look at the bright side—we caught the problem before opening and can ensure a safer, better experience for everyone all summer long.

Once repairs are completed, the State of Tennessee will conduct its final inspection before we can officially open the pool. We know many of our guests and residents were excited for pool season, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this process.

A huge thank you goes out to Kathy, Noah, and Sean for the countless hours they've spent preparing the resort and pool area. Their hard work helps make Cove Creek a place where others vacation and you get to call home. If you see them around, be sure to give them a well-deserved thank you!

In the meantime, summer fun is still on the schedule! We'll have an inflatable water slide available every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, weather permitting.

What a Memorial Day weekend at Cove Creek RV Resort! 🇺🇸🌭🍧

From hotdogs fresh off the grill to snow cones, popcorn, and mountains of cotton candy, we had an absolute blast celebrating with our amazing campers and residents this weekend! The laughter, smiles, and full bellies reminded us exactly why we love this community so much.

A HUGE thank you goes out to Kathy, Sean, and Noah for working so hard to make Cove Creek such a fun place to be. Between keeping the food flowing and turning into giant kids while running the cotton candy machine, they definitely helped make memories everyone will be talking about for a while!

And to the one kid who had FIVE helpings of cotton candy… don’t worry, your secret is safe with us. 🤫😂

Events like this are what camping in the Smoky Mountains is all about — good food, great people, and unforgettable memories.

🚨 POOL UPDATE FROM COVE CREEK RV RESORT 🚨

Trust us… we are JUST as eager as y’all are to get this pool open. 😂 Our team has been working extra hard behind the scenes to get everything ready for summer, and around here in East TN… our “pool boys” wear boots, not flip flops. 🤠👢

Between questions at the office, calls, and guests stopping us on the roads every single day asking “WHEN IS THE POOL OPENING?!”… we promise, we hear you loud and clear. 😅

The good news? Progress is happening daily and we’re getting closer! Thank you all for your patience while we make sure everything is ready for a safe and awesome pool season. ☀️🏊‍♂️

(“Outrun my hiking partner” is definitely the wrong answer. 😅)

With more than 1,900 black bears living in the Great Smoky Mountains, wildlife encounters are always possible while exploring the area around Cove Creek RV Resort. Knowing what to do helps keep both you and the bears safe!

🐾 If you encounter a black bear:
• Stay calm and alert
• Never approach the bear
• Keep a safe distance and quietly enjoy the moment
• If the bear watches you or moves toward you, slowly back away while facing the bear
• Never run

🐾 If a bear approaches you:
• Stand your ground
• Make yourself appear large and loud
• Use rocks or sticks only if necessary
• Never feed bears or leave food behind

🐾 If a black bear attacks:
• Fight back — do NOT play dead
