The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

>Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
>Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
>Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area
>Making beds and changing linens
>Washing windows
>Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
>Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors

The Hotel Seward Staff wants you all to know that we are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 results and state of Alaska Mandates. We have increased our level of disinfecting and sanitizing, along with our daily recommended cleaning. We wish all of our guests and their families the very best.
If you are having to travel due to essential services to the Seward area, we ask that you comply with the States recommendations: "If your business is included in "Alaska's Essential Service and Critical Infrastructure" formerly Attachment A", you must submit a travel plan or protocol for maintaining critical infrastructure to [email protected]" Hotel Seward will provide lodging to those in need of lodging, but we request verification that you have submitted your travel plan or protocol.
We ask that during your stay, that you limit your mobility while staying at Hotel. Please stay in your room, only to leave when you are heading / returning to work, etc. We have limited staff on hand, but we are here to aide in critical lodging needs.
Also, Ms. Gene's Place is open for take out, and room service only. We ask that you call the restaurant or the hotel front desk to place your order and it will be provided.
We are NOT open to provide general stays, and we ask those who are NOT providing an essential service or critical infrastructure to Seward, to follow the State of Alaska Stay in Place mandate, Please call us to make your reservation once the Stay in Place mandate has been lifted.
