Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 was recognized by the National Fraternal Order of Police for our commitment to the community at the recent National Night Out held at Jamestown Apartments. We are proud to be FOP!

Sometimes the best community connections happen over a snow cone.

FOP Lodge 108 joined neighbors at Jamestown Apartments in Seymour for the annual National Night Out, serving snow cones and spending time with local families.

Officers had the opportunity to talk with community members, connect with kids, and even let them explore some of the police vehicles. The Seymour Fire Department and other local organizations also joined in the evening.

National Night Out is all about building trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve, and events like this create an opportunity to connect in a relaxed, welcoming setting.

Pre-Registrations close tomorrow for the 11th Annual FOP Pre-Scoop Cruise-In & Car Show "Tom Gray Memorial" presented by Royalty Roofing and Construction, Christensen Family Funeral Home, and Bob Poynter Chevrolet Buick GMC. Last night, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 participated in the Annual National Night Out at Jamestown Apartments of Seymour. FOP Lodge 108 served snow cones to the community at the event. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign. The campaign aims a building trust between law enforcement and residents through informal friendly gatherings. There were several officers at the event to speak with community members and the kids got to play around in some of the police vehicles. The Seymour Fire Department was also at the event as well as other organizations.

Yesterday Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 was honored to be part of the City of Seymour Parks and Recreation End of Summer Escape. The was one of the last summer events before the kids head back to school. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 108 served over 300 hotdogs with chips, over 24 pounds of nachos with cheese, over 450 snow cones, and plenty of water at no cost to the community. This is our way of giving back. We are proud to be FOP and proud to be a part of the community we serve!

We want to say thank you to Seymour Ace Hardware for donating a Milwaukee job site radio and charger, Vick's Liquor Store for donating a lighted Notre Dame/Guiness lighted sign, Guardian Bikes for donating two bikes, Darlage Custom Meats for donating gift certificates, and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum for donating admission tickets. The End of Summer Escape is this Friday July 31, 2026. FOP Lodge 108 will be serving hot dogs, chips, snow cones, and nachos from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This is a free event to the public. Come out and join us!

Acme Sports, Inc. has donated at Sig Saurer P365 X with a Romeo X red dot optic, and Hollow Point Industries will be donating a custom firearm (to be determined). Raffle tickets will be $5.00 each or 5 tickets for $20.00. These will be two great pieces. Thank you Joe Hardesty and Croquart!
