MEET OUR 2026 SUMMER CAMPS DIRECTOR!!!!!!!

Hiii friends! My name is Anna Wood! I have the great honor of directing both the Kid’s and Youth camp at Chilhowee this summer! I am so thrilled to be back! This will be my 3rd year directing Kid’s Camp! The first year I co-directed with the lovely Amelia Shelton, and last year was my first year solo directing! I am no stranger to Youth Camp though! I have counseled for the past 2 years at Youth Camp! Sending a huge BOOM fist bump to all my friends from Youth Camp last year! I have been a Cumberland Presbyterian my whole life. My grandfather is the pastor of Union C.P. Church, and my mom is also going into the ministry! I have served as the Youth and Children’s Director at Union since I was 15 years old, and I love my youth and kiddos there with my whole heart! You may also know me from camp as the Camp Nurse! I have served, also, as the Camp Nurse at both camps for the past two years! I am a Registered Nurse, and I am currently in grad school getting my doctorate to become a Nurse Practitioner! I love this camp, and the people who fill it dearly! I feel so blessed that God has given me this opportunity to share His Good News this summer! I am looking forward to seeing sweet friends new and old this summer! In prayer for every person God has in His plan to be there already! We have the best staff in the world coming and the best campers- I can’t believe I get to serve amongst them all!

SAVE THE DATE! 2026 Church Camps! Kid’s Camp will be offered JUNE 14TH-19TH to grades completed 3rd-7th, and Youth Camp will be offered JUNE 21ST-26TH to grades completed 8th-12th! Online registration opens MARCH 1ST for both camps! We are looking forward to another fun and memorable summer! The countdown to camp is officially ON!
