As I, was walking through the foyer of the lodge my eye spotted a poem that I wrote in 2014. In the beginning we all came together there was Ed me Jeno (chef) my brother and Denise, Debbie (bartender), Misti (housekeeping) we were the beginnings others along the way all helpful. We all were here for the lady in White. She's built like a rock almost 100 and aging well yes, she needs repairs expensive ones, but the bones are good, but we knock the projects off one by one. Here the poem

Southern Charm Southern Hospitality
Putnam Lodge born 1927
built out Heart
pine and deep-water cypress
In her prime lavish with love
Care and Kindness years of
neglect sat in darkness and
unadorned
Her beauty untold but not
unnoticed One by One they were
attracted Ed and Bev,
Jeno, Debbie too!
Dust off the cobwebs boo
bring Breath and life to
the Grand Lady Dressed in
White
