The Copperhood Retreat is located just outside of Phoenicia in the Catskill Mountains and has recently reopened as a private group retreat venue. The Copperhood is catering to groups that are too large for a typical Airbnb home and prefer not to share hotel space with other guests outside of their group. Remote work and remote learning can be easily integrated during your stay with the recent installation of enterprise fiber internet, and is perfect for both families and corporate teams. Guests have access to hiking trails on 32 acres, a 60 foot heated swimming pool, spa, sauna, tennis court, wrap-around outdoor deck with mountain views, and fitness studio and gym. For the safety of our staff and guests, we clean and sanitize the entire venue between groups and do not provide daily housekeeping. Groups can arrange catering and take-out from a variety of local purveyors or cook themselves in the Copperhood’s comfortable commercial kitchen. Whether its hiking, leaf peeping, skiing, or fly fishing, there is something to do in the Catskills year around.

The Copperhood has 16 guest rooms available and can comfortably fit a maximum of 32 guests in a variety of rooms and larger suites. With a minimum booking of 8 rooms for 4 nights, 12 rooms for 3 nights, or all 16 rooms for two nights, your group can have a mountain resort to call your own.

November 2019 Update: The Copperhood was recently sold to new owners and is re-opening as a bed & breakfast with resort quality amenities. The Copperhood welcomes guests 13 years of age and up.

Now, we’ve installed commercial-grade fiber internet so guest can enjoy our natural surroundings without giving up the connectivity they’ve come to enjoy at home.
