Join the fun and support Prime Time for Women’s annual fundraiser as they honor the remarkable legacy of Emma "Grandma" Gatewood — the first woman to solo thru-hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine…at age 67! She wasn’t limited by the perceptions of others. Instead, Grandma Gatewood embraced challenges as adventures and pursued possibilities rather than probabilities. She lived life to the fullest — and to this day, she continues to inspire us to do the same!

📍 In-person hikers will meet at Washington Monument State Park parking lot at 10:00AM to sign waivers and pick up pre-ordered commemorative shirts. Hikes begin at 10:30AM with breathtaking views from the Washington Monument overlook — an unforgettable way to celebrate Grandma Gatewood’s incredible legacy.
